I was just wondering, do you hit an XP cap at level 8? Whenever I kill something that I think should yield xp, I get the "You no longer learn from this experience, seek out a trainer"-message. Was wondering if it was just an enforced XP cap or if it's some bug?

Yes, it's both a level and an XP cap. It's to prevent you from jumping several levels up when upper levels are allowed, I assume, though giving XP for roleplaying/quests kind of negates that idea.

*is out of stuff to do* will level 8 be the cap for a long time forward? or is it something temporarily?

*is out of stuff to do* *coughroleplayandDMquestscough* Temporary. The cap will be placed a bit higher for Chapter 2, then even higher for Chapter 3... you get the idea. EST of Chapter 2? Don't know, but Cecil should. If you purchased some ranks in crafting skills, you could always... craft stuff and then sell them?

Well, I try to be online most of the afternoon now, and as much as I can on the evenings. If there's at least one person on the server, stick around, maybe send him or her a tell to arrange an IC "bump into one another", and if I am online and don't appear, I might be plotting something or possessing an NPC for someone. Can't be in two places at once! *innocent look*

I can't give a real EST on the update, but I at least want to get another quarter of the island map done. (I can do one-two exterior areas a day if I want them to have the good quality I hope everyone loves) Interiors should be done faster now that I've got cleitaneous helping though Then there's quests, but I can add them after the update since they don't require a big download to add them.

Not yet, though I might put some wand and scroll crafting stations and supplies around soon since I don't know how long it'll be since we refine the crafting system.

Some new areas to hack up some new monsters would be nice... need some ways to pass the time when no one else is around.

Can I ummm, be re-leveled?
Rogue/Paladin combo has some bugs, and I would rather not start all over... again.

Did they fix the bug in the scripting that prevents us from relevelling? I can't remember if they did. If not then you'll have to start over. I might be able to bring you back down to 1 though, I'll look into it, but I have to go to work now.

Its in the 1.04 patch-log
And it can be done through scripting, just not through the DM command.

I'll add some kind of wand then to the server to delevel people.

The scripts DO work, but it's just the DM command that doesnt.
I would appreciate it hugely, because my character is kinda gimped now with 1 level of Rogue >_>
