Tought id make a new thread since "announcements" didnt quite seem the place for this
As I liked the old server alot, im quite certain ill be back.

Well, as i havent played on the original nwn1 server, wich i imagine this will borrow most from in setting, i dont have enough knowledge to ask the rigth questions, i think.
The feel of an advancing (altough with glacial speed) meta plot was a very nice touch with the island. I hope this will be the case with the new server as well.
Will characters from old nwn2 server be imported?
Several people i RP'ed with had nicely developed characters, and a sense of continuity may be nice.
If the same training system is in place simply require them to "catch up" on the training quests before getting the one to level up to balance things.
I.e. A level 8 fighter (i think that was the limit on the island) would if he wanted to train for level 9, have to complete in order all the previous fighter training quests first, even tough he obviously had done them on the island, before being allowed to get the one for level nine. (assuming cap and treasure availiablilty is not lower than 8, then taking a char from island wouldnt be appropriate untill cap is 8 or higher, i think)
I know both Varanna and Turgon would love to explore Azurin, for their own quite different reasons.
Also will the island also be made part of the server in time? As an outpost to Azurin that could be quite possible. And would enable the builders to add a lot of areas to the server with much less work as is already exists (presuming it hasnt been deleted)
Could be a good background device for how the clueless/primes enter the planes too .
